I’ve cultivated a love for all aspects of the design process over the last 12 years I’ve been lucky enough to spend working as a visual artist, print maker, and graphic designer.
Finding out how much I enjoy the technical challenges of designing for the B2B & e-commerce spaces was admittedly a bit of an accident born out of a need to turn my brick & mortar screen printing studio operation into a fully-realized custom print order platform practically overnight in Spring 2020.
While I had spent the few years prior to that contributing to web design projects for clients & employers, migrating my physical business to a strict e-commerce experience gifted me an enthusiasm for user research, content strategy, and high-level design problem solving that I bring with me to every new project.
If I’m not pushing pixels in Figma or synthesizing data into palatable insights, odds are I’m getting up to some right-brained buffoonery, as pictured.
While I’m predominantly doing UX/UI and Product management these days, I can hardly say no to the occasional graphic, visual, or branding design opportunity if it comes up. So please don’t hesitate to reach out and say hi if you’re looking for a design co-conspirator who:
I’m currently studying for the IAAP web accessibility cert, and have every Figma accessibility plug-in under the sun.
I deliver elegant dashboards, journey maps, and personas, because gaining buy-in is a lot easier to do when you’re engaging all the senses.
Digging deep, drafting interview plans, and crafting the perfect survey is a skill that I’m always trying to flex at work.
Maybe it’s a product of coming to sentience as we transitioned from analogue to digital, but I’ve always felt like I had to make up for not having the innate skills that you’re granted when you grow up with a very well-defined experience.
My background in visual arts and design makes me a strong UI asset and excellent collaborator across creative and technical departments.
I’ve worked with other designers, artists, engineers, marketing departments, vendors, clients, stakeholders, and teams of all sizes. From 0-1, I’m great with people.
